The Snow Pad is a highly portable electronic magnifier that uses your own iPad as a screen. Ideal for classroom use where students need to see the teacher and the whiteboard, whilst also working with documents, the Snow Pad folds up easily for transportation in a neat backpack.

The Snow Pad app can split the view so that you can see both whiteboard and your coursework book at the same time, for example for copying off the whiteboard. Using the discreet Distance camera, students can view and magnify objects over 5 meters away up to 32 times.
You can also view paperwork and textbooks placed under the iPad, which is magnetically supported by the Snow Pad frame. In addition to magnifying these documents, you can also re-flow them (convert to large print word-wrapped to the window width) and instantly OCR the text with speech output (TTS).

There's a lot of benefit in simply raising up and supporting the iPad, especially for people with short focal length. But the Snow Pad is much more than a simple "iPad raiser". Inside the tray on which the tablet rests are some specially designed electronics that manage the image processing. Snow Pad is the only device that has developed the necessary iPad circuitry to deliver sharp images with no lag.
