Staff Profile - Rachel from Thornleigh Head Office
My name is Rachel, I have been a member of the Quantum Customer Service Team for 4 years, I work at our head office in Thornleigh, NSW.
I have 3 daughters, a dog and 5 chickens, all of whom keep me very busy. As a family we love to travel, overseas when possible and camping closer to home in between. With a love of keeping active we try to ski at Thredbo each year, but we leave the tent at home for these holidays, opting for warmer accommodation.
Outside of work I also make time for swimming, yoga and mostly healthy cooking. My low sugar treat experiments often end up at work, when the children reject them!
I’m a greenie at heart, doing my best to live a sustainable lifestyle, we give most of our food scraps to the dog and chickens, composting whatever we can and grow fruit, herbs and veggies in the garden.
We strive to reduce, reuse, recycle and re-purpose whatever we can, I have even introduced a compost bucket in the office for all those tea bags coffee grinds and fruit skins, along with a pot for food waste to take home for the chickens. I also collect the soft plastic waste from home and the office to take to the local community recycling centre.
I am one of the people that answers your phone calls and emails to Quantum, I can help you with general enquiries, quotations, orders, payments, product pricing and putting you in contact with other members of staff. I look forward to assisting you, next time you get in touch.
