Introducing Dalia Rassan

With over thirty years immersed in the optical industry, my journey began after graduating from The University of Sydney with a degree in Orthoptics.

Initially, I worked as an Orthoptist in private Ophthalmic practices and gained invaluable experience working with children at respected institutions such as Prince of Wales Hospital, The Children's Hospital, and the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, North Rocks.

To broaden my skills, I pursued a Cert IV in Optical Dispensing and gained practical experience within Optometry practice. Subsequently, I transitioned into a role as a National Sales Manager for NSW and Queensland, where I had the privilege of launching Frequency Contact Lenses.

In 2000, I took a leap of faith and established my own private practice, which proudly served the community for over seventeen fulfilling years. Following a period dedicated to family adventures and travel, I embraced a new role as Head of the Optical Division for an esteemed Optical Chain store.

Now, I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter as a Low Vision Consultant with Quantum Technology RLV. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to contributing my expertise to this innovative company. Beyond work, my greatest joys are found in spending quality time with my family and our beloved dog, Ollie. Weekends are cherished as we embark on leisurely boat trips, enjoying the simple pleasures of fishing and exploring our local waterways.
