New Low Vision Service

Quantum is very pleased to announce a new Low Vision Assessment Service operating from our Melbourne office.

This service is being offered to clients in the area, who wish to have their vision assessed and get shown a range of low vision aids that may be suitable for them.

This new service was recently launched by Lorraine Wreford Member for Mordialloc, who has previously had extensive experience in ophthalmology practices around Melbourne.

The Low Vision Assessment Service is being provided by Erik Draganovic, a Low Vision Consultant and a trained Orthoptist.

Erik has worked in the low vision field for the last 8 years and has found many people with low vision have limited options for transport and have been asking for a local service that they can travel to easily.

The Low Vision Assessment is limited to a client’s need for low vision aids and does not cover daily living aids or mobility. It is designed to assist people who are looking for magnification and reading solutions, from simple optical magnifiers through to the latest electronic devices. A similar service will soon be launched in the north and south of Sydney.

All electronic aids from Quantum have:

  • Obligation-free home trial periods
  • Personal delivery, set-up and installation
  • On-going training and support to clients
  • Two year “in-home” warranty for peace of mind.
