The Gillian Gale Award for Braille Literacy

The Quantum Braille Literacy Scholarship Program honours a person who has made an outstanding contribution to Braille Literacy in Australia.

Gillian is well known and admired throughout Australia and New Zealand for her untiring efforts in promoting and facilitating Braille Literacy. We are thrilled that she has agreed to lend her name and boundless energy in support of this Award.

The Gillian Gale Award for Braille Literacy is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of Braille education and the need to start the learning process at the earliest possible age; well before formal education has commenced. The Scholarship is open to any child in Australia and New Zealand who will be using Braille as their primary learning medium.
