Output Options:
MP3 Output Options:
- Automatic creation of MP3s straight from your original input document
- Choose the synthetic voice that suits your listener (see synthesiser details below)
- Detects all removable devices including MP3 players installed on your computer
- Opt to create a one track MP3 document, or split into several tracks according to the headings in your inout document
- Choose Low (24kbps), medium (48kbps) or High (96kbps) MP3 audio quality
- Save the newly created MP3 file to a CD, your preferred folder location or direct to your MP3 player
- Collate a selection of MP3 files and write them to a single CD/DVD
- Create an audio CD compatible for playback on any standard stereo or CD player
Large Print Output Options:
- Quickly and intelligently enlarges your document to your preferred large print settings
- Choose the font size you require, also ensuring that smaller and larger font sizes remain within your minimum and maximum font size preferences
- Choose the font styles and colours that are preferable, or opt to retain the document's existing fonts and colours
- Edit your document's popular font styles by choosing to replace Bold, Italic and underlined text with a choice of keeping the font style, removing the style, or replacing the styles with underlined, bold or italicised text.
- Select to print in all of the printable area of your printer's settings
- Remove blank lines of a set chosen number or greater, ie: 3 blank lines or more
- Select to remove the left indent
- For image and objects that don't fit in the large print scaling, choose not to scale, Scale to the page width, Change the page to landscape, Create an appendix or Create an insert
- Set the output large print document to include line spacing that suits your client's needs
- Set the output large print document to include paragraph spacing to preserve your document's settings, remove the paragraph spacing, scaled up paragraph settings
- An option to include the input document's page numbers in the output document location that you choose with a numbering scheme that suits
- Output your large print document to your preferred printer
- Save your newly created large print document straight to your preferred file location, or burn direct to CD
Digital (DTB) Output Options:
- Create fully synchronised text and audio DAISY Digital Talking Books (DAISY 2.02 - Type 4)
- Create text only DAISY Digital Talking Books (DAISY 2.02 - Type 2)
- Automatic mark up of words, sentences or paragraphs for navigation
- Automatic mark up of all document headings and page numbers for easy navigation
- Apply user defined style sheets which can be saved and recalled for convenience

- Send your Digital Talking Books (DTB) to your portable hardware DAISY player
Braille Output Options:
- Generate high quality Braille using EasyConverter's own powerful Braille translation engine.
- Alternatively EasyConverter is compatible with Duxbury, Index WinBraille or your preferred Braille application software (please ensure operating system compatibility)
- Configure paper size to 11, 12, 13 inch or A4 paper.
- Paper width and length dimensions are automatically updated to reflect chosen paper size, or select your own bespoke measurements.
- Easily configure Braille margins (top, bottom, left, right, header, footer, binding) to your specific requirements and controls the amount of space that is left around the text on Braille pages.
- Select to include an Alternate binding margin that alternates the presence of a binding margin between the left and right sides of the paper, ideal for double sided embossing. For odd numbered pages, the binding margin appears on the left side of the page, for even numbered pages, it will appear on the right.
- Select one of the predetermined language profiles to determine how text is translated into Braille. Chose from UK English grades 1 & 2, US English grades 1 & 2, Swedish grades 1 & 2, German grades 1, 1.5 & 2, French grades 1 & 2 and Unified English Braille grades 1 & 2.
- Select or create style format templates for the different type of documents you create
- Select whether to include capitalised Braille where appropriate
- Select whether hidden text e.g. transcriber notes in your source document appears in your Braille output.
- Select whether to include references to the original (source document) page numbers along with the new Braille page numbers.
- Define the default line spacing of your output Braille document, selecting from Single, double or triple line spacing options
- Elect to respect the text alignment of your original document in your Braille output document e.g. left, centred or right aligned
- Elect to respect the line spacing, document languages, bold text, italic text, underlined text, hard line breaks and hard page breaks in the original source document
- Select ‘Use computer code for network paths and Internet addresses’ and EasyConverter attempts to detect web and email addresses and will Braille them in the computer Braille code as defined by your selected language profile.
- Select a method for handling characters and symbols from fonts such as Wingdings, foreign characters and other Unicode values not in the translation table. There are three choices: Ignore the character, replace it with a default substitute (two full Braille cells - two for-signs) or to render the character number (Unicode).
- Determine how images are handled during the conversion process choosing to ignore them totally, render them if they have ALT text, or always render them even if they don't have ALT text. Normally, the word "Image" is placed before an image to show that a picture was in the original text.
- Select how tables are handled during the conversion process choosing to ignore them totally or render them in paragraph form. In paragraph form, each row of the table is Brailled as a paragraph with each column separated by a semicolon; empty cells are represented by a dash.
- Select your preferred Braille embosser from your standard list of embossers (and printers) and installed on your system
- Select whether your embosser is able to interpret the form feed character to move to the top of a new page.
- Select the embosser character set from the convenient pre-determined list.
Text files Output Options:
- Outputting to text file offers a small document file size, making this altformat option easy to distribute
- Choose whether to select the preview and proof option for your output text file or immediately print or save to your folder location

TTS or Synthesiser Settings:
- Create your DAISY or MP3 output documents using your client's preferred SAPI 5 compatible speech synthesiser which will be automatically detected by EasyConverter
- Configure the speed, pitch and volume to ensure optimum audio
- Input some sample text and listen to your chosen synthesizer read that text with the speed, pitch and volume that you have chosen
- Create a lexicon that enables you to configure the way mispronounced words are spoken. Decide if this change should be applied to part of or whole words and if it should be case sensitive or not.
- Name and save your lexicon settings for use again
